This page allows you to explore the Voronoi diagram for a football team or match.
The region shown for each player consists of those places on the pitch that that player would reach first, assuming that all players run at equal speeds. The region that contains the ball is highlighted.
The players can be moved either individually or in groups. To select a group of players, click or tap on them individually first (doing so toggles their selection).
The ball can also be moved.
When both teams are shown then an approximation is shown of the percentage of the total area that is controlled by each team.
